I've always enjoyed reading about skin care and beauty products. As a kid I loved the make your own perfume sets. I loved the magazine articles about skin care and makeup. It always fascinated me.

I worked at a dermatology clinic for 16 years and found that so many products didn't work for my sensitive skin. As time went on, I started becoming more aware of the things I was putting in my body, wanting to eat cleaner, which started making me aware of what I was putting ON my body.  It's staggering to me how quickly what you put on your body enters your bloodstream: 26 seconds!  Mind blowing!!

I started reading about ingredients, learning about the benefits of carrier oils, essential oils, hydrosols, got my esthetics license, and started formulating!  There was A LOT of trial and error! I was constantly slathering things on my husband, children, other family members, and  friends asking "how does that feel, does it smell good, do you like it"?   Everyone gave super honest feedback and suggestions (thank you, thank you everyone!)  My awesome husband Steve, remodeled our downstairs family room into a zen lab space, where I'm able to be inspired and create.

I am incredibly passionate about clean beauty and making people fall in love with and feel comfortable with their skin.   I love when people start to realize how amazing they feel when they use clean products! My mission is to purchase ingredients from environmentally conscious companies that have the highest quality organic and wild-harvested ingredients that support Fair Trade.
